- Advocacy and support in working with child care Providers.
- Information on possible subsidy sources to assist you with child care expenses.
Referrals to Child Care Providers
- Families call and discuss their child care needs with a referral specialist, including the types of child care available.
- The referral specialist conducts a computerized search for legally operating child care programs which best meet the families' needs.
- Families receive an objective summary of programs along with quality child care information.
- Families should compare and evaluate a variety of programs. United Way Child Care Resource & Referral does not provide recommendations. Refer to this child care checklist when visiting child care providers.
